Integrated Design views the house and its lot together. This means the building and surrounding landscape are viewed as one interdependent system, as opposed to a bunch of separate components (site, structure, systems and use). The main goal of Integrative Design is efficiency. By looking at all the systems together and considering all the wants, needs, and concerns during the pre-construction phase it is much easier to make sure they work in harmony rather than against each other.
At GreenTex Builders, we work very closely with several architects and designers around town depending on your style and comfort. We are not your traditional Design-Build firm in that we don't have an architect on staff. This allows us to build several styles and genres of homes based on the expectations of our clients. The Integrative Design Process is an opportunity for the Architect, Designer, Builder, and Client to cover all the basis.
If you have plans from an architect that you would like us to look at, please feel free to contact us and schedule your Free 1-hour consultation. We would be happy to refer you to an architect or designer if we are your first resource.
